Lincoln Elementary School

We had a memorable day May 20 at Lincoln school with our two spring concerts and multicultural festival. Mr. Carbone headed the musical production, which were broken into a grades 1-3 concert and a grades 4-6 concert. Our grades 1-3 concert included a recorder portion while our grades 4-6 concert included a band and solo portion. Families were surrounded by artwork from our students thanks to our art teacher, Ms. Vallaster. Ms. Jaworowski, who has an artistic background, showcased a student with special needs and her talent. We also had a multicultural festival in the evening portion, where students were able to sell food or items related to their culture. Several nations were represented including Peru, Colombia, Italy, Belize, Montenegro, Dominican Republic, and Puerto Rico. It was a fantastic day celebrating our cultures and students’ music and art abilities. Please don’t forget, your child can sign up for band starting in grade 4 and Mr. Carbone can help them learn the instrument!
