On June 8th Hackensack University Medical Center (HUMC) was able to bring an ambulance and staff to our school again to help teach our younger grades about emergency response, calling 911, and an introduction to community helpers. It was truly a beautiful day for this presentation and we are so thankful for this event and our School Nurse, Ms. Cobos, for arranging this. HUMC is one of our local hospitals and presentations like these can help drive interest in future healthcare workers and emergency services. Did you know that HUMC is Bergen County's first hospital, founded in 1888?
