Unity Day

Lincoln School celebrated Unity Day early on October 20th. The true date is October 21, but school was closed on this day. Unity Day asks people to wear orange to send a visible message of kindness, acceptance, and inclusion to prevent bullying. Pictured here is Dr. Ferraro with some upper elementary students. Many resources and information on anti-bullying can be found from the National Bullying Prevention Center or PACER.org/bullying. If you did not know, October is National Bullying Prevention Month and this campaign was founded in 2006 by PACER.
